Barb Johnson: Working For Us
I have had the privilege of representing the Fourth Ward on the Minneapolis City Council since 1998. In that time, I have worked on the issues that affect us all: public safety, economic development, housing stabilization, protecting our environment and preserving our park system. I have been honored to represent North Minneapolis and am running for re-election because I possess the strong, experienced voice the Fourth Ward and City of Minneapolis needs in these turbulent times. We have challenges but with your support we can continue the work we have started. Let’s keep moving forward together!
- Crime down in the 4th Precinct and throughout the city
- Continued funding of Neighborhood Revitalization Program
- Economic development in the Fourth Ward — Lowry and Penn, Impact Mailing, Northwest Minneapolis Business Center
- Served on Attorney General’s predatory lending task force and helped develop tough predatory lending legislation
- Acquisition, demolition, and rehabilitation of foreclosed properties for owner occupancy
- Riverfront Development Corporation will help us revitalize the Mississippi Riverfront
